Today I’d like to give you an overview of our latest FreeSpace amplifiers.

FreeSpace amplifiers are premium commercial amplifiers designed to enhance Bose FreeSpace loudspeaker installations.

Commercial installers and their clients both value a simple, quick and hassle-free audio system.

Bose FreeSpace amplifiers are designed specifically for commercial applications, such as

restaurants, retail, and hospitality locations, where simplicity, reliability

and sound quality are paramount. Consisting of nine models, the FreeSpace

amplifier line offers a range of power options and built-in features that

enhance any audio installation, especially when using Bose FreeSpace loudspeakers.

Audio systems designed with FreeSpace amplifiers benefit from

built-in features that simplify the installation and provide an intuitive end-user experience.

With just a few settings, each FreeSpace amplifier can be easily tailored to almost any commercial installation,

with no computer or programming required for setup.

Starting with the FreeSpace integrated zone amplifiers we have two models that are optimized

for either low impedance applications, the IZA 2120-LZ, or high impedance applications, the IZA 2120-HZ.

As the part numbers suggest these are two channel amplifiers with 120 W per channel.

The integrated zone amplifiers feature selectable Loudspeaker EQ to enrich audio quality,

Opti-voice paging for clear speech intelligibility while providing seamless transitions,

and Dynamic EQ that ensures full and balanced music at any volume level.

The IZA 2120-LZ is well-suited to classroom applications where voice-lift and stereo audio for video

need to be mixed together.

In this application the amplifier is in the podium where

the professor has access to the front panel for

volume control and source selection.

The IZA 2120-HZ supports true two-zone capability.

In this 2-zone bar/restaurant application the

IZA 2120-HZ is driving up to 120 W of any FreeSpace

loudspeaker into zones one and two, 240 W total,

with the appropriate loudspeaker EQ on each output.

Each output has independent bass/treble adjustment,

and each zone has independent volume control and independent source selection.

The bar can be listening to the audio from the satellite TV tuner on input A,

while the restaurant is listening to music from the internet music receiver on input B, or any source combination.

When paging, the page can be heard in either the bar only, zone one,

or into the bar and restaurant, zones one and two.

The amplifier can also be muted remotely by a fire alarm panel if necessary.

Next, let’s take a look at the FreeSpace zone amplifiers.

The zone amplifiers have been designed to provide basic amplification and sound system expansion

when using front-end Bose products, such as FreeSpace integrated zone amplifiers

We have two models that are optimized for either low impedance applications, the ZA 2120-LZ,

or high impedance applications, the ZA 2120-HZ.

As the part numbers suggest these are two channel amplifiers with 120 W per channel.

This generation of zone amplifier has also been developed with added features to enable it

to be used independently when loudspeaker processing isn’t required.

The ZA 2120-LZ is well suited for café applications where stereo sound is required

from a single source and wall mounted volume controls make adjustments easy.

The ZA 2120-LZ can also be muted by a fire alarm panel if necessary.

The ZA 2120-HZ is well suited for retail applications where mono sound is required

from a single source and wall mounted volume controls make volume adjustments easy.

The ZA 2120-HZ can also be muted by a fire alarm panel if necessary.

All of these features can be easily configured with a few switches,

and do not require a PC or programming for setup.

The amplifiers were developed to be taken out of the box, set a few switches, and amplify audio

as quickly as possible to minimize installation time.
