hey guys it's Renee from bargain hunter thrift and I'm doing this video very

last minute but I wanted to get that out right away because there's something

that you guys need to know a lot of people are trying to get into the

reselling game especially with what's happening in the economy and the way the

future will be but I'm gonna talk about online storage buying and one thing you

really need to bei pay attention to because decides really don't protect you

and also this guy just spent $5,000 on a storage unit full of fake air jordans

we're gonna take a look at the storage unit I'm gonna show you some stuff how

to easy spot why it's fake we're gonna talk about some common sense then we're

also gonna talk about what's like I said what you really have to pay attention to

when you bid online um cuz nobody else is gonna tell you this stuff and

whoever's just got in business with that deal they're probably gonna be out of

business really fast so let's take a look really quick home

first up guys when you buy storage units take common sense okay so this auction

said he had two hundred pairs of brand new basically Jordans him we're gonna go

over that in a second but guys you know Jordans is probably one of the hottest

products to sell online why do i if I'm a retailer why do I have to wholesale

you 200 pairs of Jordans and started out for nothing and whatever it brings it

brings it's probably not gonna be real by the way you cannot sell fake Jordans

if you put them on eBay you get kicked off Amazon any of these places you get

kicked off if you take them to swap meets unless you go to like a really

junky swap meet they will confiscate that the police will come they will take

it it's illegal to sell counterfeit product and Nike is one of the companies

that's really going after people when they catch you with it also Louis

Vuitton stuff like that so um let's take a look at what's sold

here real quick I gotta swishes okay my instant died you if you guys won the

video yesterday so this wasn't storage treasures and okay this videos not to

bash storage treasures I love storage treasures to buy on there all the time

I'm buying all the auction sites but I have talked with several different

auction sites before and they just don't seem to care there but like well we

listed in whatever they list a list so with that kind of attitude you basically

can't put drugs on cuz this is obviously counterfeit merchandise nobody seems to

do anything about it when you guys look at these online auctions okay and you

see this right here you know Casey my mouse cursor

you see nonlin unit that means it's not a real storage unit okay they'll do

slash manage a special which is totally BS so there should be two separate

categories it's a non lean unit and as a category manager special which is

usually left over stuff or sometimes and stuff for charity but you definitely

want to know the difference an online unit me instead I made a deal with the

storage facility I said hey I'm gonna put some stuff in storage I'm just gonna

auction it off and I show pictures and I say it's an awning unit so most of the

time what these non lean units are it's stuff that other resellers couldn't sell

and now they're trying to sell it to you and they really take advantage of people

sitting at home or in the office that don't know what they're doing and

they're buying these dreams the way I got attention and it smelled about to

steal for the very first time where I'm belong to a face book storage by a group

and this guy was and there's like hey if some of you guys want to go partners we

all can invest we can make tens of thousands of dollars on this deal and

I'm like wow number one if you have no knowledge you probably shouldn't ask for

partners and use other people's money and number two the stuff is obviously

fake so let's take a look at this little auction here it's sold for forty four

seventy plus fifteen percent buyer's premium so what is that like over $5,000

I'm just gonna say five thousand in the video the guy's really smart so first

thing that should be another big warning side besides the nomina unit stay away

from this unit guys don't buy unless you got a store when somebody says hey I got

a thousand spider-man shirt so a thousand coca-cola shirts and he's

exactly telling you whether you were buying and you can use it for retail

business or something else you do that you can do that's okay if they're trying

to push it like it's a dream or say oh it's comic books unsearched do you

really think a deal is gonna list 10,000 comic books that are unsearched or if

it's baseball cards unsearched or if they leave a mystery to it it's an

awning unit that person can go in and photograph every single item there

should be no mystery to it it should be like an eBay auction but these people

cannot put this stuff on eBay because they would get kicked off you can't do

this stuff so um and I'm sure a lot of people that do it is they're gonna get

all upset in the comments well Rene you shouldn't tell people that you know it's

like it's it's a free society they can take risks but this is just blatant

ripping off and it's taking advantage of people that just don't know how to buy

and sell so here I am the warning here I'm here to warn you

and for the sneakerheads you guys probably enjoyed the stuff too so and

I'm by far not in Jordan expert but here's the first one son he says shelfs

not included okay well and you know what the more that I read about this I don't

you think that's a storage facility I think that's extra said somebody thrift

so it's actually Google that company they have a thrift store so they are

gonna keep the shelf so they're gonna stay in business so if somebody stays in

business why would they sell you mean any Jordan shoe there's some really good

models in here it's worth at least 100 bucks and box most of these probably two

three hundred dollar pairs so why would you put forty to sixty thousand dollars

pairs were worth of shoes with no reserve price if you're gonna stay in

business that's your first warning sign that's

like kind of thick and won't you know it goes back to the old days when it's too

good to be true it's probably not true they just trying

to sell you the stream was complete BS Denny says he's really smart he says 200

pairs of brand-new sneakers he does not mention Nike or Jordan and I'm just he

lists the sizes colors and styles but now if you look at the picture so this

is his first picture number one his pictures a really low quality which you

know he's trying to make the mystery so you know you kind of hope was like well

I'm not sure I think it looks good I think it looks good but he makes sure in

picture number two right away he puts a Jordan shoe that's extremely famous

I mean I'm 43 years old I grew up with that shoe I don't know exactly what

Marlys I'm sure some people will comment and you know if he also makes sure you

see the Jumpman logo right there which that logo doesn't look right if you know

logos a little bit but he shows that right away and he makes sure the second

shoe is a Jumpman logo 2/3 shoot Jumpman logo fourth shoe not a famous shoe right

here how actually a little bit better this way so let's see if we can get the

boxes a little bit better yeah that's still fuzzy also look at these black

boxes right here just 1s so I can't move it because I'm using my cursor right now

but there's some kind of gold stickers on top of it I wouldn't be on real

Jordan the same thing right here also the black is faded unless it's just dust

but I don't think that it's just it's just faded you can just sell that low

quality he shows another shoe right here with the Jumpman I think that's supposed

to be jumping on the back right here so he makes sure he shows plenty of Jordans

stuff so a person that's not educated also not willing to the research it's

gonna assume those are all like Jordan Jumpman shoes what you're not so

dis person paying for these shoes um five deaths Oh about 25 26 bucks a pair

which is a total ripoff I mean if you go to any the swap meets that actually lets

you sell that stuff and you see it you can pick these shoes up sometimes for 25

bucks 20 bucks a pair of 40 bucks a pair I mean you're not gonna make any money

that's it's a complete utter ripoff one thing that you want to look for when

you look at these Jordan shoes um I'm gonna show you something right here

really quick let's open this up okay see you on the box right here so it tells

you it's upside down I don't know why he did that too but it's a three retro

white gray black and then made in China right below it there should be the model

number which is a nine digit number and it's supposed to look like this I find a

good picture right here kind of like this or actually just one is better see

right here assess a three seven eight zero zero three seven one oh seven

that's where your model numbers no real Jordan boxes will put up shoes without

having that model number on it so and then also one thing you want to be

really careful if you do buy something you know and you know sure this number

right here should match whatever it says on the shoe that's your identifier um

guys get rid of this let's get rid of this we're still in this website so

anyway so yeah this guy spent two hundred five thousand dollars on two

hundred pairs of fake Jordans um and here's why I get mad at these websites

because you can obviously look at this and say hey let's just get rid of this

is obviously counterfeit we don't want none of our customers getting ripped off

but they you know daddy was like well we're making at least you know 15% bias

premium and then if they charged me or the other and so they make six hundred

seven eight hundred bucks so they just kind of let it slide especially in times

right now when there's nothing else going on so there's no other auctions

going on for them most of the stuff is non mean unit stuff and I don't know I

just don't think it's right now that's two different ways of looking at me as a

dealer so as the business and dealer person I'm like okay you know what

whoever puts the money dis they gonna get burned but a time to pay swap me

fees by the time they do all this other stuff they're gonna be out you know

easily six seven thousand dollars and probably won't make any real money

you know if they really get unlucky they might get some legal troubles out of it

or best-case scenario get that stuff confiscated which me as a competitor I'm

like great one more person coming into business and they leave right away

now me as the YouTube channel that's trying to help people and educate people

stuff I call attention or dad and that really upset me we're gonna look at a

couple more different non lien units for a second here let's see what else is out

there and we'll look at some of the descriptions that I talked about stuff

that you really have to pay attention to sorry guys I'm pretty tired today it's

been a long day but I really just wanted to shoot that video really quick look at

all this stuff I feel at all famous George who's but all kind of fit and you

know I kind of hope that tomorrow morning who have a biases maybe they see

the video and just not go pick up the unit or if this is a regular business I

would call it I would tell them it's like hey guys so you sold these you you

obviously made it look like they're Jordans you know you take it they gonna

argue with you said we never said Jordan but they put all the logos there and

stuff I'm just like I'll just call Nike you know it and Nike will sue them like

Nike doesn't take the stuff like Lee doesn't matter if you manufacturers sell

it or whatever what's just ready oh yeah so here's another thing so um you can go

to this website DHgate okay and there's several different websites you can order

them so this guy sells in for 50 bucks for one pair I found them as low as

eighteen dollars a parentless website but this one right here has a verified

by stock ex a verified authentication tag on it

I guess he gives an extra key Jane and it comes with a box and if you buy

twelve or more pairs you can get them for forty bucks including shipping from

China so that was another one here um see what that's gonna show you that's

really quick see if I still have it any Kier one one bank okay well I'd pair so

if you were buying like 100 pairs of more than where $18.00 a pair including

should be from China so which is the same thing so like I said this guy paid

$25 he's gonna be really really sorry let's take a look at some other options

really quick tat an omni know I always like to look at the highest ones we'll

see what here's another guy you know this is a make sure okay it's a non lien

manager special and it says all new out okay

blind touchscreen blackboxes $500 each their worth but he doesn't tell you what

model they are so now remember these are non mean units yes full access to these

units so he can go in and tell you exactly does 17 of model 8450 of model

86 he can give you a breakdown good from flea market a store buddy again he

doesn't tell you anything you know these are probably old GPS systems see if I

see any models here and it pictures us so of course you cannot read any models

and somebody's already bidding a thousand on this but I think people a

little bit smarter on this tundra 200 pieces and then you know they have these

dates tickets 2016 like they're brand new I don't believe none of this stuff

anymore see online I mean if I see something if it's real auctions and

stuff but that's why I tell you guys all the time you guys gonna know what were

you by where you put you money and where you buy these people come in and they

spend so much money trying to but buy real stuff and they thinking and making

these big schools and I'm just getting ripped off I mean this is all ridiculous

to me uh this is actually good starch right here so yeah it's a good Nike unit

actually on one of the auction sites that's full of Jordans that I just saw

so I think it might have been sold already

let me see right here um extra space so that's a real unit now so not some real

units are popping up last week when you were going here okay private sell a

non-eu Mike M let's see all these comics and then they just play when you see

stuff displayed like just people most the times real storages don't do that's

your first warning sign I actually seen units on yourself before just as a

regular auction units but you could tell there were none mean units also crimes

fines and lunker's bought a couple and they didn't disclose it let's see what

does he say comics books crying for the clock our subs house DJ speakers comic

book art collectible blades and dolls autographed balls paintball guns

somewhere off but again he doesn't really tell you anything and somebody's

already paying two thousand dollars guys this stuff no matter how good it looks

and you think it's good this stuff has been picked over if I wanted to I could

put like thirty these units to go to and there was stuff that's been picked over

or stuff that if we don't want to probably make an extra

40 $50,000 but I just don't want to do that because people are buying this and

they think they're buying something that's really good or they thinking that

you know they see some of the scores that we make and they think now's the

opportunity to make a score if I cannot tell you guys more than anything stay

away do not ever ask anybody that you trusted

in this business do not buy non lean units just don't do it unless you really

see something you can identify and you can use it it's it's very few times that

the non-linear is actually legit here's another one private seller current high

bid thousand of antiques and vintage items postcards folders war love letters

from our teak store cash making unit won't go for cheap access 24/7 houston

texas luckily nobody bid on this it doesn't mean this is all dollar to

dollar on three items I was loving how the pictures are never that good but I

was trying to sell you a trim oh my god it's a doll it's a cash making unit it's

so great I spread it apart and you know the way

that he's guys displayed his stuff you know what right here did he have these

pictures these clothes I've spread apart that's like three boxes that's nothing

couch look how good that letters I'd buy this unit take a chance they got artwork

too if I remember this one right here if you guys on liked our you want to see

good one in the Lake Tahoe area I would buy this you know just to take a gamble

it's kind of hard for thousand dollars but so this guy's a second unit also but

it has like a lot of music gear in it somewhere is a rare Russian amp but I

don't like it when they go in and they open up stuff and I'm not crazy about

that supposed to do that and you can tell nobody with storage so that tells

me the manager went in and open up stuff we're just totally against the rules but

pretty much online nobody's regulating oh here's another guy in Michigan so at

least this looks authentic he's a Nike shoes to Air Jordans let me

see what is this kid shoes Nike kurachi run he has that wide number 704 950 0 12

that's what's supposed to be in your shoes

7c New Balance looks like mostly kept Shuster but at least this stuff is legit

and he has good pictures where you can actually see this stuff so he's just

selling this stuff I mean I still wouldn't buy because I don't buy non

lean units but there's actually some stuff in here if this were to go cheap I

might pick it up locally Oh cuz all this stuff sells in a store but see the

difference in pictures Gucci I know the weight of stitching right there's I

don't look good she looks kind of fit but whatever I'm not gonna judge

actually I will judge but I won't say nothing let's see if there's any more

here's another one it's usually with the arts those those guys are pretty funny

let me see Callaway golf club chests just teared store display motorcycle

Schwinn bicycles no private seller stuff you know now I was left to write stuff

in a box is fragile rare they should like to show you brand new stuff like a

Louie Vuitton pattern which it's nothing I know some jeans and you know you make

sure the tag is right on top gap letter D G on top so when they go through this

stage these units so I mean that's really literally what it is I know some

people actually saw some of these units and

you know I don't agree with it but it is what it is but I'm giving you a mess

they're probably actually gonna get mad dad I'm putting this video out to be

honest but I really don't care you know so guys do me a favor this was a short

video somebody got screwed for 500 for $5,000

and 200 Nigerian shoes stay away do not buy nonlin units do not

buy him no manager specials no abandon no private sales

you want to buy real storage auction units and do yourself a favor when you

start buying online get a book as you buy units make yourself notes when did

you buy the unit what did it look like what did it look all open was it mystery

and then how do you do that unit and you're gonna start seeing certain

facilities every time you buy you do really good and other facilities every

time you buy they're just crap and I don't know that's crooked facilities out

there mean you guys see it online all the time people doing videos and stay

away from those facilities and buy from the good facilities
