we're riding into this headwind for a long  time we're heading to a town called Florence  

it's the last day before a rest day our legs  are absolutely smashed hello we finally found  

the kwik-e-mart at Lauren's whoa remember  the one he was looking for worry mr. furry

when you cry I remember where you learn  twenty-something miles in strongest headwind  

ever taking us like two hours in doing it  you know just keeping the health for you

these ones that's quite nice go to sleep  yeah sir I feel a little bit under dress

we went into a foreign grill and the  outside was like boys or enter the bar

morning morning so there's been sort of a gap in  the timeline of four videos in between just now  

and now we've had a rest day Brewster point  in the ride the day before yesterday where  

we were completely knackered and I needed to  stop filming it was head down you didn't miss  

anything the main road all the way here so  we're now in Florence it's the penultimate  

day to the end of our journey we have 120 miles  to ride we're actually heading inland so we can  

avoid some of the headwind down side is gonna be  mega hot but tomorrow is only 60 miles so this  

really feels like the last proper day of riding  for us looking forward to it yeah man America

so this has been different for a couple days ago  isn't it yeah all right morale is so much higher  

certain like that how do they hatch it in how  to rest did it come in the video I guess this

like we weren't talking to each other it was just  like head down and look at the computer for seven  

hours and wonder why the number wasn't going  down fast them yeah so good today's been kind  

of good isn't it I'm in like 20 miles now we've  averaged 20 we've averaged 19 and a half miles  

an hour in a minute yeah but then it so goes  uphill like peaks at about 1,500 feet and then  

it's basically we continue to lose elevation for  the rest of the ride so it is gonna be nice 900  

miles and twenty hundred twenty miles 35 degree  so stopped here cos down there isn't another  

stop yeah is there isn't another stop for fifty  five miles so need to fill up his desert bottles  

which luckily he kept with him he's gonna get  to about 36 degrees in a few minutes time I'm  

gonna miss it give out to the UK no no very much  no portions are gonna be big enough to satisfy us  

they're gonna be made they're gonna be like good  healthy food I'm not gonna be Denny's if you get  

out to a sour though real sour dough not just  white bread I can I even begin to express how  

nice it is being able to ride at 18 miles an hour  without putting that much effort in I mean the  

last three days we've been absolutely tanking  it and doing like 40 miles an hour subsisting  

and I seems like a skells own this is not cows  Oh mr. pasty yeah that's Arnie so we've doctor  

this place called triangle lakes there's a big  lake in the shape of a triangle we've got about  

ten miles before we hit the main climb of the  day it's like a thousand feet in one hit it's  

about 14 15 percent so should be done in like  20 minutes ish fully laid bikes I'll slow you  

down a little bit and it's shot descent and then  kind of falls flat downhill the whole way home  

it seems so easy when you say it like that but  it's not hey legs feeling man they were fine but  

I just sat on a form Howie yeah now my legs are  right man I'm feeling them a million times better  

than over the last few days still got knee pain  but because you didn't do any stretching did you  

I did four seconds of stretching so you didn't  do any stretching did you excuse to miss night

I'll give you to Burris in a minute Mike  so we've just managed to miss one of the  

turnings I think we've added a little bit of  extra distance on looking at the map though  

it was a mountain to our left and it was a  left turn so I'm not sure if we've managed  

my cheek off a bunch of elevation in exchange  for a bit more distance I hope so it's why I'm  

not feeling a bit of a good thing because  did you see the road it was cheap it was a  

dirt road ain't nobody got time for that are  you in another bar again drinking beer again

we got hate strike again so it stopped

smell so we've been sat here for a ban hour  now waiting for it to get cooler it has got  

one a degree hotter so we've said yeah ice we've  done the ice we've done the desert ice thing put  

the ice and the bottles mainly eyes and then  tiny bit water so at least let me Chuck over  

ourselves approximately one hour in this direction  maybe slightly longer because of the headwind

next town is line our in this direction  so we can get there assess the situation  

and then if we have to stop again thank  you that direction when you say tanker  

do you mean ride fairly slowly into a  headwind no I mean 20 mile an hour going  

that way what winds dropped a bit according  to what according to my moistened fingertip

yabba-dabba-doo you got something the iron rack  of ribs so we stopped some food he's given us  

some iced water again in the last 50 minutes  of riding we covered about 20 miles we were  

pretty much running as fast as we could into that  headwind we have got through six bottles of water  

and we explain to the viewers why we get through  so much water we're basically dowsing ourselves  

in it oh it's so hot here it's 40 degrees and  you basically cover yourself in freezing cold  

ice water and it's dry in five minutes that's  how hot it is it's the only way of like keeping  

cool so you just absolutely churn through it I  mean these these refrigerator parts you really  

didn't see like they're gonna do any world your  there your favorite thing ever saved our asses  

but you know if you're starting to feel a bit  sunstroke you wish we both were until we got  

here then you know it's the only way you can  kind of try and keep yeah but I mean stainless  

stickiness it's 10 power 7 and it's probably  not for okay so sorry it's 37 degrees - oh  

nice we have got 35 miles left to do call  it very optimistic isn't it yeah ran down

I don't think I've ever stopped by the side of  Rome flat bike ride I mean don't look it but  

it's it's 32° stuff I think we've reached like  a tolerance next trip arctic 20 quid each mate

we would I ever get there really fast will  not get there at all okay that's good night  

so we've got to our motel James managed to  book in Sagami is part of town the latch on  

the door is snapped off a conditioner works  though tomorrow last ride at Project America
