Avengers Endgame is the biggest event in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date.

And naturally, like other MCU films, it's full of a ton of Easter Eggs, references,

call backs and much much more!

While we've previously done an Easter Egg list for the film on this channel, we've decided

to come up with a list that includes every single one that we spotted, specifically pertaining

to ones that appeared in Endgame and not other ones that carried over from Infinity War.

With that in mind, this is our list of all 84 Easter Eggs in Avengers Endgame!

"You see where you're going, now let's worry about how you get there" - Hawkeye first line,

meta reference to the MCU and how prior to 2008's Iron Man, Marvel Studios had planned

out the trajectory of the franchise

Thunder - when Clint's family disappear, we hear the sound of thunder - this is the same

sound effect used in Infinity War in Wakanda when all of the heroes were dusted

"Don't post this on social media" - when Tony is recording his message to Pepper, he says

this line.

It's a throwback to 2008's Iron Man when Tony, towards the beginning of the movie, tells

the military private who wants a photo with him, "I don't want to see this on your MySpace

page"

22 Days - Tony has been stranded in space for 22 days.

Avengers Endgame is the 22nd film in the franchise.

Blue Meanie - Towards the beginning of the film, Tony calls Nebula a blue meanie, which

is a reference to the villains from 1968's animated Yellow Submarine film.

In Yellow Submarine, the Beatles travel through the sea of time, which is a nice little relevant

reference for Endgame and it's plot.

Tony's Wardrobe - when we see Tony and Nebula fixing the ship, he's wearing a black tank

top, the same outfit he wears in the first Iron Man film when making his Mach 1 armour

while being held hostage in that cave

Rocket's costume - Rocket's new costume is from the Dan Abnett and Andy Landing Guardians

of the Galaxy volume 2 comics, which is what inspired James Gunn's version of the team

in the MCU

Suit of Armour Around the World - When Tony is recused and returns to the Avengers compound,

he gets quite upset, and quotes a line of his from Age of Ultron, I see a suit of armour

around the world.

This conversation also mirrors another conversation he had with Cap in which he says "how are

you guys planning on beating them?"

To which Cap responses "together".

Tony says "we'll lose" to which Cap replies then we'll do that together too.

Tony's names for Rocket - Tony calls Rocket a build a bear, and also, later on, calls

him Ratchet, the latter being a reference to the Ratchet and Clank video games.

The Garden - Thanos has retired to the Garden.

Note that Infinity War was filled with a ton of religious imagery, so the Garden lines

up well with this, with the idea that Thanos is 'god' and that he retired on the seventh

day after his work was done.

Another nice tie to the Garden comes from the comics, in which Thanos, when acquiring

the Infinity Gems for the first time, goes to see the Gardener, an Elder being who belonged

to one of the first races to develop after the big bang.

The Gardener, using the soul gem, used it to create a valley, and was obsessed with

peace and quiet.

Thanos visits him, and then uses the gems he had already acquired to cause the Gardener's

death, pushing vines throughout his body, impaling him.

Honeycomb Matrix - when the Avengers go into space to find Thanos in his garden, the honeycomb

matrix that appears when the Guardians' ship flies there is similar to the one that appears

in Guardians of the Galaxy movies

Thanos Scarecrow - In his garden, Thanos has created a scarecrow out of his suit of armour.

Gladiator - there's a shot in which Thanos runs his fingers along his crops in his garden.

This is an homage to the film Gladiator, in which Russell Crowe's character is seen doing

the same action, during the scenes in which his character is at peace and about to be

reunited with his family upon his death

Thor went for the head

Joe Russo - part of the support group

Jim Starlin - part of the support group

Ken Jeong - Security guard when Scott Lang returns, Russo brothers worked with him on

Community.

He also played a security guard for a while on Community

Yvette Nicole Brown - plays a worker at camp Lehigh, takes a ride in an elevator with Cap

and Tony and later reports them as being suspicious individuals

JG Ballard - The Terminal Breach - the novel that Ken Jeong is reading, has a short story

in it called Endgame.

Ballard is known for writing post-apocalyptic novels and short stories

Carol Danvers - haircut, from the comics

Black Widow's Ballet slippers - next to Natasha's desk in the scene where she's talking via

holographic projection to Nebula, Rocket, Rhoedy and Carol, you can spot a pair of ballet

slippers in the shot.

The ballet shoes are tied to her past in the Red Room, with a ballet school being the cover

of the infamous assassin training program that we got a glimpse of in Age of Ultron

Scott Lang's Van is locked in spot 616 which could be referring to the main continuity

of the Marvel Timeline on Earth 616

X-Men name in the Vanished Memorial - Roberto Da Costa.

Roberto is a character who joins the New Mutants who first appeared in Marvel Graphic Novel

issue 4 in 1982, created by Chris Claremont and Bob McLeod.

The rat that saves the universe by unlocking antman could be a subtle call from Disney

(Mickey Mouse)

Age of Ultron Tony Promise - took a page out of Barton's book, living on a farm like he

suggested to Cap at the end of the movie

Time Heist - when the gang are trying to convince Tony to help out, Tony makes fun of the name

that Scott had called the plan - Time Heist, which is actually the name of an episode of

Doctor Who from 2005

Back to the Future - when the Avengers are testing out the time travel machine, Rhodey

and Scott make a bunch of references to 'time travel rules' which are all basically pulled

from the rules of time travel from the Back to the Future franchise - something their

teammates then make fun of them for.

While the Bannerified Hulk says time travel doesn't work that way, we see a lot of similarities

between Back to the Future and Endgame, with various characters sneaking around their past

selves

Professor Hulk - smart hulk from the comics, Peter David comic where he introduced the

blending of their two personas

Killing Baby Thanos - this could actually be a reference to the plot of Cosmic Ghost

rider, in which the Punisher becomes Ghsot rider after Thanos wipes out Earth, and eventually

becomes Galactus' herald when the destroyer of worlds wants to take on Thanos.

Cosmic Ghost Rider ends up going back in time to kill baby Thanos, but can't do it, and

instead raises the child himself

Love you 3000 - that's actually taken from the Iron Man 3000inversion table

Cap's Shield - When Tony reconciles with Cap and presents him with his SHIELD, you can

hear the theme from Captain America First Avenger playing

New Asgard - New Asgard is in Tonsberg Norway.

It's the place where Odin, before passing away, suggests where Asgard could find a new

home, saying, "this could be Asgard" in Thor Ragnarok, and also where Thor fought Hela.

It's also the city where Red Skull acquires the Tesseract in Captain America the First

Avenger.

Supersonic Rocket Ship - a song from the Kinks, and it's about a ship that's a refuge, which

feels appropriate since the Asgardians had escaped Asgard on a refugee ship, the same

one that was destroyed at the beginning of Infinity War.

New Asgard is their new refuge.

The Big Lebowski - Thor's new look

Meek and Korg - Korg's pineapple shirt a reference to the pineapple jumper that director and

Korg actor Taiki Waititi.

Fortnite - the crossover with Marvel Studios and Fortnite

The Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum) from Thor Ragnorok is playing Corg and Miek in Fortnite

(Noob Master)

Ronin persona - Clint Barton takes this on in the comics

Yakuza member - the one Hawkeye kills is from the comics (find link) Akihiko, who led the

Shogun Reapers in the Nick Fury comic

The Avengers Time Travel Suit is modeled after the Hank Pym's original quantum realm suit

Jane Foster - the photo we see of Jane at the Avengers compound when the team are recapping

where each of the stones are is the same one that appears in the Avengers when Coulson

explains why Foster is not around to be consulted

Vormir the center of celestial existence - could be some sort of plot hint for the upcoming

Eternals MCU film

The Hulk is seen eating Hulka Hulka Burnin Fudge Ice Cream from Ben & Jerry's - Ice Cream

easter eggs!

This is a long way from Budapest - referencing Budapest like they did in the first Avengers

film, when Natasha says the battle of new york is like budapest all over again, to which

Clint responses you and I remember Budapest very differently

Dr List - Baron Von Strucker's chief scentist is name dropped after the team of covert Hydra

agents acquire the septre.

The Elevator Sequence - throw back to Captain America Winter Solider

Hail Hydra - 2017's Captain America Steve rogers and Secret Empire

I can do this all day - when Cap fights his 2010 self, line throwback to several moments

throughout Captain America movies

America's Ass- thanks to the internet

Unruly - 2014 Thanos calls the Avengers unruly, which is something the mad titan called them

in the end credits scene of the 2012 Avengers film

Morag - Guardians of the Galaxy opening scene but from a different angle

Indiana Jones - Rhoedy makes an Indiana Jones reference when he and Nebula go to get the

Power Stone, saying that there should be booby trap spikes with skeletons stuck to them -

Raiders of the Lost Ark reference

Stan Lee Cameo - "make love not war!"

Stan's Bumper Sticker - Nuff Said, was from Stan's Soapbox in the comics, one of his common

catch phrases

Roscoe on Cap's shirt - Roscoe Simons, was Captain American in 1975, roughly when this

era of time travel takes place

Arnim Zola - when Tony runs into his father Howard Stark, Howard is looking for Zola.

We learn in the Winter solider that Zola was the one responsible for Hydra infiltrating

SHEILD, last seen as an AI in that film

Jarvis - James D'Arcy reprises his role as Jarvis from the Agent Carter MCU tv series,

who appears when Howard is leaving camp Lehigh

Ant-Man helmet - retro ant-man helmet in Hank Pym's lab, it's the helmet Ant-Man wore in

his earlier comic appearances

Peggy's Office - the framed photo of Cap that Steve sees is the same photo she looks at

in the end of First Avenger

Vormir - Red Skull's speech is exactly the same as the one he gave to Thanos in Infinity

War

Strongest Avenger - when debating over who will use the new gauntlet the Avengers have

created, Thor says he's the strongest avenger - this is a callback to Thor Ragnarok when

Thor attempts to log into the ship, using Strongest Avenger as the password

I can handle it - When the Hulk wears the gauntlet, he ends up dropping to the floor

in crippling pain, and Tony wants to call off the experiment.

Steve, on the other hand, asks him if he can take it, which Bruce replies with yes - this

is a callback to what Steve had shouted when he was being transformed into Captain America

in first avenger

Secret Wars Issue 4 - Hulk holding up the rubble to save the other Avengers members

Stormbreaker - in the big epic battle, Thanos tries to push Stormbreaker into Thor's chest,

similar to what Thor did to the mad titan in Infinity War

Thanos breaking Cap's Shield - infinity gauntlet comic, and also Tony's vision from Age of

"On your left" - Sam radios Cap when Cap is faced with Thanos' army - a callback to Winter

Solider - twice, once when the two were running and Steve called it out to Sam, and the second

when Steve was in a hospital bed in the film

Avengers Assemble - the famous line from the comics that had been teased at the end of

Age of Ultron

Rescue - Pepper Pott's comic book alter ego, and also the mask that Tony's daughter was

playing with at the start of the film

Howard the Duck - can be spotted in the final battle just to the right of the Wasp when

she shows up in the frame

We're on it Cap - a nice little callback from the Wasp, when Wasp made fun of Ant-Man for

calling Captain America cap

Instant Kill Setting - Spider-Man activates it during the fight when he's got the new

infinity gauntlet - this setting is something we first saw in Spider-Man homecoming, except

Peter is clearly more under control

I Am Iron Man - line from 2008's Iron Man when Tony revealed to the public his identity

Thanos Sits - when Tony snaps, Thanos sits like he did at the end of Infinity War, knowing

everything is over before he himself is dusted

Not alone in the universe - another meta reference - Tony's funeral video, he says this - callback

to when Nick Fury tried to recruit him as part of the Avengers Imitative

Proof that Tony Stark has a heart - the wreath at Tony's funeral has this on it, it's the

gift Pepper gave Tony at the end of the film, the arc reactor

Harley Keener - the kid from Iron Man 3 at Tony's funeral

Cheeseburgers - Happy Hogan and Morgan Stark, referencing the cheeseburger request from

first Iron Man film after Tony comes back home

Asgardians of the Galaxy - in the fun little banter scene where Thor gets on the Guardians

Ship, he references the Asgardians of the Galaxy, an actual marvel comic

Secret Invasion - at the end of the movie, Peter is returning to high school.

And if you look closely behind him, you can see an administrator welcoming students back

to school.

That administrator is played by Ben Mendelsohn, who plays Talos (the leader of the small group

of Skrulls shown) in Captain Marvel

Don't do anything stupid until I get back - Cap says this to Bucky - a line reference

from First avenger.

The Tan jacket - Old Man Steve rogers - he wore this jacket before becoming Captain America

in the First Avenger

The Clanging - End credit clang, from 2008's Iron Man, when Tony was building the mach

1 suit

Other possible connections that fans have made-

Earthquake under the sea - we handle it by not handling it - could be a hint to the existence

of Namor the Sub-Mariner, although considering the state of the rights surrounding the character,

that's uncertain
