is the end of our time here in Mexico last year our trip south led us to

Oaxaca and because we enjoyed it so much we always thought we'd be going to the

anticipated in Baja we realized our time is running short so we've rerouted

and we're heading north even though the time is coming to an end here in Mexico

you can count on Eamon and I to pack a whole lot of adventure into these next

few weeks good morning everybody from the side of the streets here in

Guadalajara this is where we slept last night fancy fancy plumbers I don't know

what this big palace is but that was loud I have to admit I find quite a la

Jara a very charming little city yes officially this area I'm not sure

exactly but it's obviously a high-end area even doing this thing where you

based on your safe keep it morning we've got a big day planned so we thought we'd

started off with a walk so that our little terror Rojo

could be nice and calm for the day ahead oh good morning good morning after he

poops he has so much energy

good we've just driven about two hours east towards and a God may plant someone

that we've been kind of in touch with for a few months now we've tried their

samples the company looks fantastic we're excited to actually meet some of

the staff here and the farmers on site we really love what we do with our tea

company chai wallah chai we need to travel and go directly to massage we've

been to India and South Africa frooties and now we're here exploring what it

would mean to put agave in our team so

let me go while agave is best recognized as the

plant used to make tequila it has actually been used for centuries as a

food as well today we had the opportunity to see how the SAP is

extracted from the Pina naturally filtered and heated at a low temperature

to create agave syrup we chose this company because of their focus on

environmental sustainability and because their farmers are all shareholders in

the company well buddy I would say that was a successful mission here very

successful Thanks to everyone who showed us around it was great to get to the

source of agave I learned so much more about the processing and how natural it

truly is so you gotta be interesting to see if we decide to choose it as an

ingredient in our product in the future and just in case you were wondering it

is fully certified only vegan fully kosher wholly owned all the Folies all

right guys we now have a four and a half hour adventure ahead of us so I'm gonna

get behind the wheel it's time to go we put on the camera to smash up the four

hour drive to get it out Cannizzaro oddly feels like home because

last year we had her engine failed just outside the city and through the process

of trying to fix it we made a lifelong friend in sergio time and time and time

again sergio showed up to help us translate show us around the city and

make us feel at home we made it to Quetta teto and you might recognize this

one feller from the last hello Mexico series who is it our good friend Sergio

and his new fiancee well kind of hop it happened to Matt in my eyes it happen

actually oh did it yeah just now no

they're gonna stay at his crib and and he lives kind of outside the city so

that's what we're headed now stay stay stay stay stay good boy okay

we've bought ourselves five minutes to talk to you the vlog we woke up in

almost freezing is really nice I just shut off a fan so kind of funny that we

were freaking out about a/c last week yeah we're gonna show you a really

really cool town just outside of Kenneth OH

but first we got to get some food fuel up to hit the road back in the city

might as well try and burn this guy out and introduce and do a little bit of

skateboarding rojo you come in good yeah come on come here buddy come on raw

huh come on come on buddy no nope so I think that's all we're gonna get

for skateboarding the Tahoe I'm gonna go for a little skate around the community

Sergio lives in this gated community so it's all really nice paved roads and I

haven't been on the skateboard in time super stoked to go forever in a

wonderful house letting us shower use the toilet there Wi-Fi so we thought the

least we could do was make some beautiful breakfast to share together

this morning making tofu scramble tacos cashew cream

okay we've got the squad all piled into the vehicle and we are ready to head to

our destination for the day should I tell them where we're headed we're

headed towards San Miguel at the end a what I thought maybe we'd be like secret

secret new destination and the plan for the day is to rent some

ATVs or off-road type devices what do you call that we always like to treat

our guests with an A+ treatment and that includes having nice cold beverages so

you guys know our fridge is super small we don't have room to keep everything on

ice or cold so I'm gonna grab a bag of ice throw it in the cooler so we can

stay hydrated all day love yellow not to fret anybody they've got cold drinks

as you guys can see this town is very very narrow has a lot of charms so we're

stoked that we just found a parking spot we're gonna go check out the ATV place

by foot and meet you there we found bikes we're super excited and

we have no plan it's time to hit the road and figure out the plan as we go we

tried to ask them hey if we're not doing the tourist can you show us where the

lake is and they said nope why not they want us to the tour yeah we're gonna get

it on our own we are super excited to have toured sponsor in today's video

we've been using their cooler in our van for the last two years as an additional

fridge as you know with van life we want everything to serve two purposes so this

that panties are sick now and we've packed this pho with tofu Chico's Mike

walk and we're gonna head out to the lake enjoy some cold beverages let's go

baby we're gonna use the adjustable bike

strap strap it on to the back of our ATV for our adventure today and make sure

that everyone has a nice cold beverage up the lake or wherever we end up who

just 15 minutes outside of that town we found this awesome lake with a bunch of

off-road tracks we're so excited to get on them but first the cold

if anybody's coming here to send Miguel down I would recommend that 50 bucks you

get two hours and make sure you bring some cold drinks because it was super

nice to enjoy one by the lake now I think the whole Scot is super hungry

because if you follow us you know how often we eat and we've only had those

breakfast burritos so it is time to find some vegan tacos here and maybe explore

a little bit more of this beautiful dark town and ditch the helmet

all right let's go I just want to give a big shout out to my little pup rojito I

do believe that it's possible to make your dog an adventure dog it's just what

you do with them and whether you used to he's so tired and lift his head paws up

the lens you know it's a vegan restaurant when the host doesn't say

anything he just goes right to the dog

Wow let's tell her it didn't tell anybody to just change their menu and

candies look the menu says like no where to the same vegan yeah interested saying

it you just get the food Sansa maybe even there like my lady

because she takes the time to read the menu and she just said I think we should

what's most impressive about what we just got put right before our eyes is

like each taco look completely different like once a flour tortilla wants a corn

tortilla when the lettuce wrap once I don't even know I'm so excited I can't

read you like

classic Rojo when there's no grass inside he just pees in the middle of the

street it's Holy Week and it's a big deal here so everyone's on vacation

which is why it's so so busy but I'm gonna turn it over to my boy Serge cuz

he will have this in the background because we want to talk about the poems

that they're setting up right there for Palm Sunday which is tomorrow and

there's a representative day of when Jesus walked into like Jerusalem or

something like that I'm not completely sure but it's just that it's just a big

it marks the beginning of Holy Week does this place have a special meaning in

your heart in general well this is the place where Fontana and I got engaged so

yeah definitely a local special place in our and you know what's super cool about

that guys is when we were hanging out with Serge last year he actually told us

hey Montana was back home in America hey I'm gonna actually propose to Montana at

some point when we were here so it's so special to be here a year later and

she's got a rock on her finger and they're madly in love

I got distracted what it's important to note that all of Mexico has this entire

week on vacation so you don't want to be near the beach you don't really want to

be anywhere Sam you guys agenda is the biggest destination wedding area of

Mexico for Mexicans and that's part of the tradition like those two people like

you'll have like a little parade around town with your bride it with the bride

ring boob and those two like huge whatever they were will like be like an

upgrade if you come here on the Saturday you'll see a lot of weddings happening

what a fun day I was awesome you guys thank you so much for coming along with
