uh super quick what we're gonna be  going over today is how to get started  

in affiliate marketing so uh for those of you that  are unaware of what affiliate marketing is chances  

are you probably aren't watching this video  right now because you don't have the awareness  

but i'm just gonna say if you happen to just be  netflix binging my youtube channel which happens  

a lot i get messages from you guys i know what  happens you're like i've been listening to you  

all day while i've been cleaning my house and i  love that i love that i love that i can be part  

of cleaning your house with you right um sarah hey  girl hey so affiliate marketing you guys is really  

just helping to share a company's products that  you support and that you align with so affiliate  

marketing done wrong in just a sentence would  be people sharing things that they haven't used  

and that they don't know if it really works or  not so really that that's kind of the skeezy  

way i guess of doing affiliate marketing is  just sharing things to make money just sort  

of fleecing your audience so to speak that would  be the skeezy way of doing affiliate marketing  

the good way of doing affiliate marketing is  really just sharing things that you already use  

what families don't realize and what you may not  realize yet maybe you do because i do talk about  

this a lot because it's very important to me is  that we're leaving a lot of money on the table  

you know our focus is on how high gas is getting  and how high um the the different utilities  

that we use you know everything is really  across the board about 30 more than it was  

uh six months ago and that's across the board so  on average everything costs about 30 percent more  

except we're not making 30 more and so what  that's doing is it's putting families in a really  

i mean i'm going to use the word scary a  really scary situation and so my suggestion  

is let's leverage what we already use  and what we already probably talk about  

and be able to make money off of that stuff  so we can load balance now if you're even  

more serious than that and if you want to do what  i've done which has made it an entire profession  

right i have an entire like i am a professional  affiliate marketer self-proclaimed nobody nobody  

you know i'm not knighted as the professional  affiliate marketer but i am i do it professionally  

i'm professional in how i do things but also i'm  very systematic and i'm methodical about it and i  

you know i do it in a professional way which means  that i don't just kind of throw stuff at the wall  

willy-nilly i'm a professional i know what  i'm doing and i work a system right and so  

with affiliate marketing you guys how to get  started into it the best way in my opinion in my  

professional opinion the best way to get started  in affiliate marketing is to look around at what  

you're already using easy as that so take a  notebook which if you're like me you have 90  

of them i have i have way too many notebooks  i need an affiliate link for mead notebooks

i should totally do that i should totally  have that on my site because i always do  

mead they're all the same guys they're just  different colors i always do the mead 5 subject  

i'm so cheap the mead 5 star 5 subject notebooks  that's me man i don't church it up i don't get  

all special about it or anything it's just and  i got a blue one and a green one and a red one  

they're all over the anyway that's but grab  a notebook is my point man that took a long  

time to get to that point so grab a notebook and  walk around your house and just start writing down  

things that you use on a regular basis now if  you go to in the link in the description of this  

video i have a free training that i did that  walks you through how to be able to make money  

today you guys i had somebody message me last  night it was greg i don't know if he's on here  

i know he he messaged me this morning this morning  saying he had to go to work and he's like i'm  

turning affiliate marketing into my 1099 and god  bless a man i was like yeah let's do it right  

but he messaged me last night and he was like  how quickly do you think i'll be able to see  

a return when i start doing affiliate marketing  and i'm like man if you do what i'm saying to do  

immediately you should make money today you  really don't you don't now it won't cash out today  

with most most affiliate programs it'll be like  a net 30 right so it'll usually be between 30  

45 maybe 60 days where you get paid out on  the thing that you referred the sale for  

and that's just to make sure that there wasn't a  refund however there are some companies that will  

every week pay out on those things there are  some that do that and i'll be going into that  

into the membership here in just a little while  but anyway what i'm saying for today for you  

is to take your notebook i'm not going down  that rabbit hole again you guys i'm not doing it  

take your notebook go around your house  write down things that you already use  

okay just write them down and then go to google

type in whatever the thing is with its brand  name and then uh affiliate program the words  

affiliate program afterward okay see what kind of  affiliate programs you come up with now a lot of  

things for household items anyway are going to  be on amazon okay so you can just join amazon  

affiliates and here's just a word to the wise from  the wise to the wise i don't know how that works  

i don't know why i don't know how that works but  anyway uh whenever you're signing up to become an  

amazon affiliate they ask you an obscene amount  of questions and as you're going through the  

questions you're gonna second guess should i be  doing this maybe i'm not what they're looking  

for and all these different things start coming  into your head it's sabotage it's what we all  

do to ourselves okay understand that's all that  that is answer the questions truthfully really  

all the questions for are are for in the amazon  affiliate app all that they're for is they're  

making sure that you're not a scammer and you're  not so just truthfully answer all of the things  

if they ask you for your website you don't have  one say n a not available don't have one just be  

honest in all of this stuff guys and then submit  it you're going to become an amazon affiliate  

and then you can start sharing the link and  you'll go through all of that okay so that's  

that is what i want you guys to know to be able to  start affiliate marketing like i said there's tons  

of money on the table right now our friends our  audiences our family are out there buying things  

that we talk about every single day the only  difference is that we're not getting paid for it

the companies and the corporations get to keep  all of that money right now and there's nothing  

you know whatever but why wouldn't we deserve to  get paid for it there's something that i really  

there's a line there's a sentiment there's an idea  or an ideology that i really want everybody to  

just attach to and that is the concept of friends  ask friends for affiliate links okay so sometimes  

i'm i'm interviewing people and they'll talk about  a software that they're using and i'm like do you  

have an affiliate link for us they're like no i  don't okay i'll wait go and sign up for one i'll  

wait friends ask friends for affiliate links  you guys there's this is the world we should  

be living in we should if our friend is talking  about something we should normalize do you have  

a link for that that should be normal for us okay  so please do that with your friends that's let's  

all do that with each other because you guys we  can be helping each other out in ways we're not  

currently helping each other out and it's a really  cool thing we just don't understand it and so what  

i would suggest doing today is like i said take  your notebook walk around your house think of  

all the things that you use on a daily basis  also take my free training the link is in the
