Today we are going to reveal Mario Lopez most famous magic tricks that astonished people

around the globe.

Mario Lopez , the Spanish magician, is a smashing storm in the world of magic, he won the second

prize in the biggest magic trick competition in the world.

And so, his tricks deserve our autopsy today.

Let's do that on his nine brilliant ones.

1st trick: The magical salt falls This trick might be one of the most complicated

tricks ever performed by Mario Lopez.

It is a series of funny consecutive tricks that Mario must have practiced for a very

long time.

Let's explain that in details: Part 1: Opening the saltshaker by a stick

This saltshaker is not actually made of glass, it is made of a squeezable plastic , and the

bottle cap is not closed tightly.

So, when the magician points at the bottle, he squeezes it in this moment, and the air

pressure throws the cap to the other side.

Part 2: The empty hand gets full of salt again The magician collects the falling salt by

his hand, and throws it on the floor.

His hand is empty of course, but suddenly the salt appears in the exact hand, as if

it was beneath his skin, how did that happen?

The secret is exactly in this moment.

When he moves the stick behind his back, he instantly takes a fake thumb finger from his

back pocket and wears it in his right thumb.

This fake finger contains salt inside, take a closer look here.

Also from this angel you can clearly see the fake finger in his thumb.

After that he hides the fake finger inside his empty hand, and extracts the salt to his

palm.

And then he returns it to the other hand as you can see.

And when he takes the stick from his back pocket, he gets rid of the fake finger and

puts it inside his pocket, and so there is no trace of salt on his hand.

Part3: The stick with a fountain of salt In this part of the trick, we see salt pouring

out of the stick.

The secret is that the stick is hollow and full of salt that was early there.

The stick has a small hole at the top hid by the magician's finger to prevent the salt

from pouring out.

When the right moment came, he rotates the stick to the other side as you see here to

let the salt out from the hole to his hand.

Part4: Salt from pants In this moment, the magician hits his pants,

and strangely salt spreads around.

The secret is that the magician has previously put a huge amount of salt in his upper pocket,

and when he moves and hits, it goes out randomly appearing like it comes from the pants fabric.

And while doing so, he extends his right hand to his back pocket and takes some salt making

it reappear from his hand.

Part5: Salt from sleeves While trying to stop the pouring salt from

his hand, another line of salt pours out from the his sleeve in a dramatic scene.

The secret is that the magician has a tube of salt hidden beneath his arm, this tube

is electronic and designed to be opened and closed remotely.

Part6: salt from shoes While trying to stop the leaking salt from

the hand and the sleeve, the magician surprises the audience by continuing the leak from his

shoe.

How did that even possible?

The secret here is in the shoe itself, which has a custom design for the trick.

At the bottom of the shoe there is a small hole acts like a gate of the hidden salt inside

the shoe.

This hole has been closed all the time by a plaster, and when the magician wants the

salt out, he rubs the shoe by the other one to remove the plaster, and so salt finds its

way out.

Here you can see him removing that plaster.

2nd trick: The color-shifting cigarette filter This trick is one of Mario's best and most

complicated that certainly leaves everybody speechless.

It consists of several stages, at first the magician shows a single normal cigarette to

the audience and tries to put it in his mouth, but discovers that it is reversed.

He sets it right, but it reverses again, what is going on?

He sets it right again, but it revers one more time.. what a Sisyphean situation!.

The magician then rotates it counter clockwise, but the cigarette filter drops down again.

It needs a medical intervention apparently, so the magician cuts it into two halves, and

when he tries to put one half in his mouth, it reverses again, as if it is possessed.

Actually, this trick is so confusing, but we managed to reveal its secret, and plus

do it for you.

The question is, what is the secret of this dazzling trick?

The secret lies in the professional design of the cigarette, as both ends of it have

the same filter color but with different positions.

When the magician puts the cigarette right in his mouth, and then reveres it, it is supposed

to go back to its normal status, but it keeps shifting filters, and that because both ends

have the same color in opposite directions.

And when the magician rotate it this way to set it right, it suddenly shifts to the lower

end.

This is because the magician does it swiftly with a sleight of his hand and makes it rotate

to the other empty white side like this.

And so it appears like it is reversing, and that what Mario Lopez does every time.

3rd trick: The return of the broken cigarette In this trick, Mario showcases one half of

a broken cigarette, and then presents its other half and just sticks it back as you

can see, the result is an intact complete cigarette.

In fact, this trick doesn't take a genius to figure it out.

The cigarette first appeared in the magician's hand wasn't basically broken as we thought.

Mario just hides it behind his fingers and only shows its upper half as you can see.

Then he brings another half from a totally different cigarette to make us think it belongs

to the original cigarette, but with a sleight of hand he drops it or conceals it in his

hand.

After that, he moves the cigarette to the other side showing it to the audience like

this, then he adjusts it this way, so it appears like it came back one piece after being cut

in two halves.

4th trick: The vanishing and reappearing nipple I have to admit it is a funny but scary trick

indeed.

In this trick the magician shows his nipple to the audience with one hand, and ripped

it off by the other one, and bang, it is not there anymore, but wait, he brings it back.

How did he perform this strange trick that left the judges and the audience amazed?

The secret of this trick depends on the optical illusion, the magician actually doesn't remove

his nipple as you might think, he firstly shows his nipple to the camera and people,

and then covers it with the other hand lifting the nipple up along with the skin.

In this moment the skin appears empty as the nipple has been actually removed, then the

magician let loose his hand, the skin moves back to its normal condition including the

nipple.

What helps the magician here is his soft skin that enables him to pull off the trick amazingly.

5th trick: The smoking banana This one is highly enjoyable and one of Marios's

funniest.

At first, he goes up to the stage and takes a cigarette to smoke, but the stage organizer

forbids him from doing so.

To get his dignity back, Mario does a strange move, he eats the cigarette and brings a banana

as an alternative and start smoking it, the banana.

He lights it up and begins to smoke in a weird and funny way.

So, what is the secret here?

And from where did the smoke come from?

Some may think that the magician has previously installed a real cigarette inside the banana,

but that is not possible, simply because the cigarette is short and will not reach the

far end of the banana, and more it will get wet inside and will not burn.

So, how did he perform this trick?

The secret is that the magician indeed used a cigarette but it was not tobacco, it was

an electronic one like the one you see here.

And that means it can't be affected by the liquids inside the banana.

In this scene, notice that the magician has been always hiding the head of that electronic

cigarette by his finger so it doesn't appear to the camera.

6th trick: A cigarette in the nose out from the mouth

This trick is one of the most popular ones of Mario Lopez, where he shows one cigarette

to the audience, inserts it into his nose, and extracts it from his mouth several times.

He then pushes it inside his nose, and takes it out of his mouth without being damaged.

So, how did he perform such amazing trick?

The secret of this trick is simple but consists of several steps.

At first, the magician doesn't actually insert a complete cigarette into his nose, he only

inserts an extra cigarette half which was hidden in his left pocket and then in his

hand, whilst the complete cigarette we see is inserted into his mouth.

Using his left hand, he inserts the cigarette half into his nose like this, and using his

right hand he inserted the intact cigarette hidden behind his fingers into his mouth like

this.

Notice that the magician now has a cigarette half in his nose and a complete cigarette

in his mouth.

After that, he plays with it back and forward.

So when pushing the cigarette inside his nose, it appears from his mouth, and when pulling

it out from his nose, it disappears in his mouth, making the impression that it is one

cigarette getting in and out.

After that, he pretends to push the cigarette inside his nose, but the truth is he is taking

it back and conceals it in his hand while showing everybody the complete cigarette extracted

from his mouth.

And so he looks like he managed to insert the cigarette into his nose and extracted

it from his mouth.

7th trick: The disappearance of the lighter In this trick we see the magician engaged

in performing some tricks, and suddenly the lighter vanishes from his hand, like it is

never there.

In fact you can perform the vanishing lighter by many ways in your sleeves for example,

but Mario follows a different approach.

If you take a closer look, you will see that when he was pretending to look for the cigarette,

he conceals the lighter at the back of his head.

8th trick: A coin appears through a forceps This is a wonder trick Mario Lopez performed

in front of the audience and took their breath away.

Firstly, he shows a coin with a hole in the middle as you can see, and then inserts a

forceps inside that hole and starts picking something up.

And suddenly, a coin appeares at the edge of the forceps . The question is, how did

that happen?

And from where did that coin come from?

In fact, this trick is one of the easiest that Mario Lopez can do.

And the secret lies in his sleight of hand.

He concealed the coin behind his fingers, but not in an ordinary way.

Putting it inside the upper gap of the forceps, he waits for the right time to let it slip

down and grip it with the forceps head, making it looks like it came from the middle hole

of the coin, and making everybody astonished.

9th trick: disappearing and reappearing card This trick is quite simple but needs practice,

it depends on the design of the card itself.

The card has an attached piece of paper on the back, which helps in pulling and releasing

the card.

When the magician slides his fingers by the card, he pulls the attached paper down and

that minimizes the dimensions of the card to be totally hidden behind the fingers.

And then he releases the paper smoothly when sliding back and so it appears again.
