This is a case where you have a very  serious danger to the public it's  

much greater than the the danger  of nuclear warheads by a lot  

it's capable of vastly more than almost  anyone knows and the rate of improvement  

is exponential i try to convince people  to slow down slow down ai to regulate ai

instead of worrying about today's problems he  already has the next 50 to 100 years mapped out  

in his mind but musk has recently made various  unsettling predictions about our near future  

from wars over the last drops of oil on our planet  to humans uploading their minds to computers  

and finally becoming immortal here are elon musk's  predictions and warnings for 2022 ai takeover  

to elon musk his biggest concern is a.i he once  said quote with artificial intelligence we are  

summoning the demon elon musk says that if we  don't have more oversight on ai then it could  

be the end of humans as we know it elon is most  concerned about deep mind deepmind is a british  

ai company it's owned by google and is developing  the best ai known to man musk has warned that  

soon ai will be smarter than humans and when this  happens humanity's very existence will be at stake  

it's said that in 2022 ai is going to replace more  jobs than any other year before this will create  

a massive unemployment problem but to elon musk  that is the least of his concerns he believes one  

day superhuman ai will view humans as a roadblock  simply getting in their way and when that day  

comes ai may decide to do something about us  it's easy to think we can simply turn it off  

now and it's not too late but if things continue  the way they are now we may not be able to simply  

switch off ai elon says he believes ai is often  overlooked by very smart people very smart people  

do not think a computer can ever be as smart as  they are but this is hubris and obviously false  

immortality elon believes google's deep mind is  very creepy but musk has been working on some  

pretty creepy things himself elon musk founded  a startup known as open ai and he believes this  

will one day allow humans to become immortal  this will be achieved by openai's sister company  

neuralink neuralink has created microchips  that go into your brain elon says humans  

will be able to connect their brains to computers  they can then upload their mind and consciousness  

and this means even if their human body  passes away their brain can live forever  

it could even be put into a robot or an artificial  body neuralink plans to begin human trials in 2022  

so we may see the first immortal person in 2022  it's believed this technology will be commonplace  

by 2050 but this raises a massive amount of  ethical questions do you think that immortality  

will be a great thing it means humans never have  to say goodbye to their loved ones and we can keep  

living forever or do you think this is very creepy  and plain god after all death is part of life  

and keeping everyone alive forever with  computers may have very bad consequences oil wars

it's no secret that a motivating factor behind  many modern wars is oil john mccain famously  

said whoever controls oil controls much more than  just oil with oil comes power but oil is a finite  

resource every day there's less and less of it  right now we don't have enough renewable energy  

to power everything we need and this means we will  likely see more oil wars in the coming years this  

is a reason why elon musk sees tesla so important  he says one day pretty soon we will run out of oil  

completely this means cars won't work global trade  will shut down and the world will seriously change  

that is unless we all make a rapid change  to renewable energies switching to solar  

wind and water might just save the planet  and prevent a massive amount of bloodshed  

alien contact it's the age-old question do aliens  exist when elon musk was asked this he said they  

may already be among us aliens may have made  contact with humans already but we didn't realize  

after all aliens may not take the form we  think and they may not communicate in the  

same way that we do elon musk says if aliens are  out there then they would be super intelligent  

that's because they found out how to do what we  never could travel from one galaxy to another he  

says if they are super intelligent this means  they're already observing us the issue is that  

humans may not be smart enough to realize it so if  aliens have not contacted us yet maybe this will  

happen in 2022 but one thing is for sure elon musk  does believe there are other life forms out there  

if there are people with us in the universe this  is scary but in my opinion it's even more scary if

in the world many believe that by 2022 china's  economy will overtake the us and this may mean  

china will soon be more powerful than the usa elon  musk says china is the future in fact elon said  

china will soon destroy us he believes the chinese  economy will soon be twice as big as the usa  

and this could happen as soon as 2030. the usa is  not perfect but china is very authoritarian the  

country has one ruler and is technically communist  and they use very draconian measures on their  

citizens to keep them in line things like social  credit schools are normal so if china becomes more  

powerful let's hope other countries don't adopt  these same measures becoming multi-planetary

2022 will be spacex's biggest year yet musk has  stated that they will deliver a high fly rate in  

2022 this means dozens of launches and shipments  of payloads to space the moon and mars they will  

do this before moving on to more ambitious  goals like sending humans to the moon and mars  

musk is hoping to send 1 million people to mars by  2050 so this means humans may be multi-planetary  

sooner than we thought if elon's plan works  then humans will go to mars as early as 2026.  

population destruction today we hear a lot  about overpopulation but this could not be  

more wrong elon musk says declining birth rates  are one of the biggest risks to civilization  

not enough people are having children and this is  a very bad thing in an interview musk said there  

are not enough people i can't emphasize  this enough there are not enough people  

musk says people need to have more children  otherwise we're going to have serious issues  

that's probably why elon has six children himself  he said mark my words if people don't have more  

children civilization is going to crumble  so those were elon musk's predictions and  

warnings for 2022 and the near future that  we will all experience soon but now it's time
