Hello everyone & welcome back again into another vlog from Live Love Thailand, as you know

from last week, that Thailand has started to apply, the opening steps that will be between

April & October, and the 1st step has already started from April 1, which is shortening

the quarantine period.

In this vlog we are going to update you about the latest situation in Bangkok, the vaccines

regulation & rules, the 10- & seven-days quarantine, Phuket module and entry regulations, more

over the other provinces that may open after Phuket, so lots of interesting updates, stay

tuned and enjoy till the end.

Last week there were an outbreak in some of the nightlife spots, located in downtown Bangkok,

that has caused things to slow down & go back, concerning the restaurants and nightlife situation,

the venues were close to each other, so they tried to change some regulations, in order

to contain the cases.

Entertainment venues in three Bangkok districts have been ordered to close from April 6-19,

and that is in Songkran period, so that they prevent any crowded gatherings, and contain

the cases.

Closing hours will be brought forward from 11pm to 9pm with a ban on the sale of alcohol,

these regulations will slow down little bit the opening process, and changes the nightlife

picture for a while.

Now as you know from the beginning of the month, the 1st easing process has started

to be applied, which is shortening the quarantine period, to the ones are vaccinated, but there

are some regulations even to the ones who are vaccinated, and they should check it before

they jump in.

There is a list of approved vaccinations, that are recognized by Thailand, and people

who are intending, to do shorter quarantine, must check them, and also see the basics to

follow, concerning the type of the vaccine, and the applying process, that is found in

the official websites, so that they won’t stay in quarantine longer than 7 days.

Seven days quarantine for vaccinated tourists, holding the right vaccine passport, and 10

days to the ones not, but both of them should do the PCR tests, and hold all the requirements,

from insurance to certificate of entrance, and all the paper works, in order to get fit

and enter Thailand.

Now 7 days or 10 days, there is still quarantine for the vaccinated ones, that’s kind of

little bit not efficient, because the vaccinated people are not getting too much privilege,

or escape the quarantine, the only thing is that saving 3 days, and nothing more.

So, people who are ready to quarantine, are the ones who are interested to travel to Thailand,

and enjoy some shorter quarantine period, others must wait Phuket module, which we will

talk about it now.

Phuket Module, that will allow vaccinated tourists to escape the quarantine, will be

applied in July, which is 3 months after, so Phuket is getting ready, and many steps

has already started in Phuket island, in order to be ready in July.

The vaccination process has started, as promised to vaccinate around 70% of Phuket population,

till early July, and lots of people are registering to do that.

Phuket international airport, also getting ready and prepared, to put all the required

measures, in order to welcome tourists, that are willing to come and enjoy their holidays

without quarantine.

Now if Phuket module works, there will be other provinces to follow, the same steps,

and open up without quarantine, but the list can change or get longer, depending on the

situation.

The current possible lists are, Phuket, Krabi, Phangnga, Surat Thani (Koh Samui), Chon Buri

(Pattaya) and Chiang Mai -- to vaccinated foreign visitors, but I suppose the capital

will be joined to the list, if everything goes right.

According all we have mentioned, the 3rd quarter could be promising, concerning travel & tourism,

and 2022 could be the full reopening, of Thailand to the whole world.
