Good morning, folks. Today, what we're going to  do is an acrylic color coat finish with a small  

house now we already pressure wash the house and  what we're doing today is we're praying all the  

knees good old painting I have to give you time  for all that pressure wash the private wood and  

everything else so just as we go and the steps  involved in doing this our first thing you do  

is pressure wash everything get it ready for the  primer and paint getting ready for the primer of  

the wall and whether you feel it finished and  of course they had a roof here that wasn't in  

great shape so I recommend that they fix that  roof hired all this work house we go I'll show  

you the pressure wash will show you even the  fastest way to paint this because there's a  

slow way to paint it the fast way to paint the  Peters then when we get ready to do the acrylic  

finish I'll show you that too and most times  I'll use a la hopper hover color coat which is  

porous but on this particular one we're going  to go with a Dryden drive it makes it excellent  

acrylic finish and so does perixx and stucco  flax and carson's but they chose driving on  

this particular house - that's right well short  - as we get domestic alright guys we're going to  

paint now I want to use my airless and I do have  a long one that I can stand on the ground and get  

this from the ground but if I set up my staging  I get better application because I'm right up to  

it and I can control is the latke using a paint  from Home Depot it's bare it's their best they  

have it's a primer with paint I always tease  a sales guys this morning I said well I pay  

this much money for it I could only do one coat  right of course he always gives me the old well  

Kirk we got titanium dioxide and it's a lot  of white pigment or coverage still need two  

coats I try to keep on his toes and anyway this  even this light cream we're still going to use  

to coach new coach Tuco's over here so this is  pretty messy I'm normally going to wear a mask  

bat goggles because this goes everywhere what  we do is I'm gonna go ahead and hit both sides  

like this come around and I'm going to come back  to it let me use my brush the drip part this say  

some time but kind of a hassle for a little house  like this and of course I just recommend brushing  

the windows here and we are going to do a color  coat over all these walls here so here we go

take a lot of time you're gonna narrow this  again just keep your brush handy my son and  

I soon as I do all this we're going to come back  and brush everything in brush these a little bit  

in any place the holidays will we brush in so  there you have it as far as the paint I'm not  

going to bore you and go around the whole house  with you, but this is the way to go for Eve's  

because it's just too time-consuming you're  all the friends yeah you can hit good brush,  

but these hairless is really stable on  how easy it is with one of these guys

Those areolas are great for these details.  I try rushing these out take forever,  

but you know, a girl with an airless

because there's so many different types of things  so many different times primer primer forward  

primer from stucco you name it so there's quite a  bit anyhow the next time you see us will probably  

be a blind of primer prior to the application  of the drive it from freely finish on this place  

okay folks same house one of the benefits of a  maintenance-free color coat as opposed to painting  

is they painted this many times they hate the way  look well somebody had an idea of how to do some  

stucco patching and they patched it here and they  patched it over my head here terrible patch and  

every time they painted of course it enhances it  even more where you realize it more and more the  

benefits of the acrylic finish that we're going  to apply is about an eighth of an inch thick it's  

gonna bury these really bad finishes right here  so when it's done it'll blend into this float  

finish here and it'll all be uniform and that's  that's another benefit of the color coat treatment  

whether or not it's La Habra or whether it's  an acrylic finish it blends in very well these  

fantastic okay guys we are done with the painting  what I'm going to do is I'm going to pull this  

tape off now because we've got to cover once more  this cave here just now unfortunately it's a hot  

day today it's about 85 degrees I was able to  run two passes around all these eaves with my  

Airlift we're going to take all this plastic off  the windows now and when we come back next week to  

actually do the acrylic vintage we're going to  cover again but this time we're going to cover  

right to this wood and then we're going to take  our acrylic right to though wood here because the  

acrylic we're going to be applying on your tinted  greenish so we're going to cover all the windows  

once more but this part will already be done of  course when I remove all that plastic out to the  

color coats done anybody got a holiday or two it  always happened the cracks I'm putting a fiber  

brush tape over all the cracks that are existing  and I put it well feed on that we don't have a  

drip screen here which is majority of homes don't  have a drip screen it's about four years reviewer  

we don't have a drip here so the house tends  to crack but even if it did have a drip stream  

sometimes the houses crack anyway depending  on we're on very very busy street they get ten  

tons garbage trucks going by it rain saturated  moose grounds and get some airline crap you see  

these we're so going to put my best game over  them and that way when we come to do our truck  

finish gonna hand apply all that also it's done  we pull that filling finish is gonna be the fun

what we're doing now is we're using a  primer temporary acrylic comes with his  

own crime whether it's parents driving cars  and several flags there's a whole bunch of  

different point and this is the color that  the actual application of these are acrylic  

is going to be so we're priming it now, and  they say you don't have the prime, but I've  

time everything this way we're better safe than  sorry in fact I was picking up the material,  

and he says you don't need to prime it's not  that much extra work I got a private we get  

it we stretch the material little bit further  it gives a better bond if we miss a spot it's  

the same color I'll show you something here  that's we're using drive it gets there's a  

cow pie Hayward good stuff it's one of my  favorites this is the color prime, so we  

mix up this five-gallon pail here and we start  priming the buildings I usually back over here  

I will paint all the vents too because this makes  the job look a lot better, so we get all the pens

kind of loud

she's always got a lot of business going by what  I do is I generally get the color packs now his  

mullet back yeah one whole pack each bucket so I  don't use all of these buckets I can return what  

I don't use and 55 to 60 of pale just I always  get a little over open I have two extra pale that  

way I can return them but if I don't I haven't  rather than go all the way back to Hayward we're  

in Alameda today so the long drive we mix one  of these from one bucket one of these for the  

primer so that's the stage wherever now of course  we're doing the entire house it's the second time  

covering the windows because generally I'm just  doing the stuff at work but a lot of times if they  

ask me we'll do all the painting also would you  wouldn't there with you at all so the first time  

we covered the windows was way back here on the  frames and we painted that now we're doing driving  

hybrid so with why won't we pull all this would  be a nice clean edge around at all so second time  

covering but at a different location of course  the whole house is just like this I don't want  

there's no need to go around the entire house but  I'll tell you one thing with driving this stuff  

sticks to your clothes you pull the ladder you've  got to cover really well you can see the ground  

here is really well all the way in the backyard  it is covered really well in the beauty there's  

a beauty of a thriving acrylic finish unlike  paint paint you have to repaint every 8 to 12  

years with drive it lasts 50 60 years it starts  to fade but it still lasts an incredibly long  

time to drive it this is this is just a primer  but when we actually apply the driving this is  

one eighth of an inch thick so it's a 50 times  thicker than this year would you cover this mint  

cake and it'll cover a lot of small but even even  nothing is maintenance free forever this is board  

porous concrete and it's kind of a brownish tint  it was poured only five years ago losing his fin  

because the Sun is baking it so the same applies  for the acrylic finish after about 20 30 40 50  

years pending on the city you live in the degree  of heat and will start to dull a little bit but  

unlike paint it won't come on so until we do that  get started with the drive it I'll leave you with  

this right now my son died we're going to finish  I got both my son say we're going to finish doing  

the primer I'll show you how you apply the acrylic  finish when we get to that stage and this is stuff  

that you better off paying somebody to do because  unless your contractors a lot of years with the

bringing the aggregate out clean the aggregate  and I always pull these wallahs wet if I take it  

off when it dries on full little scales here and  so let's see I just want to grab this guy here

Yes, but I'm not pulling off all my paint  because we did these actual paintings last  

week. If I use the red tape, I use all of  it. It's a vinyl, the final gate by now,  

which can pull a lot of my finish goes on, so go  at the blue, and there you have it now we still  

got to come back around to the bottom piece. This  is the plug finished 50 times particular paint.

Okay, guys, we are at the end of  John this window. You can see that  

there are many wood rocks, but  I'm older just frame off here.

Okay, guys, we are really done with  all the painting, all the priming,  

and I'm here just doing a little bit  of touch-up walk you around what looks  

like the front of the house over here porch.  Try a new board still working on this one.

We actually applied of drunk to the  garage juice. I'll call his good woman.

and follow me in here to Jason, and you can see  it foots backyards mighty small we got this wall  

here they didn't want to go at that, but I hit  him a favor and surprising through that in since  

we already were here keep in mind hit it with  the handlebars and things like that you can put  

a little dent in it, but it's very sturdy it's  fifty times, and if somebody says hits with the  

model we do we go in town or when they epoxy  that front window they're going to I'm just  

going to come back and feather it in so anyway  that's a lot of painting with an acrylic finish,  

and this particular finish drives it again they  make 20 different acrylic finishes I'm just giving
