Midget

Manlet.

Leprechaun.

People have joked and poked fun at Tom Cruise's Height for decades.

But you know what? The truth is...he's actually Taller than you think.

In Tom's earlier career he was actually described

as Five Foot Nine or Five Foot Eight.

But when I started CelebHeights in 2004

I warned folk...The media will continually chisel away at

Tom's Height. To the point that everybody will actually

think and believe Tom is 5 foot 5.

Boy, are you in for a surprise.

I wonder...have any of these people who take such great delight in calling Tom a midget,

actually ever met the man in person? Many have and many are still recovering from

the surprise they get when they meet Tom. Just ask Mel Gibson for instance.

A self declared Five Foot Ten inch actor who upon meeting Tom was astounded, shocked, bewildered

and really pissed off with the cold hard Truth of having to look UP to Tom's eyes.

And what about Noah Taylor? Another Australian actor whose been in two

film's with Tom. Now Noah claims to be Five Foot Nine....and

I'm sure he'd read online Tom was like Five Foot Two.

Well to this day, I heard he's still having counselling over the cold hard truth.

Now if you think Noah was surprised, just look at Arnie's face!

He is in utter disbelief. Who is this man I'm shaking hands with?

Somebody...where's the exit...get me a time machine...where's my mommy

Man mountain Arnie can not even bear to look Tom in the eye.

And we all know why don't we Because he would be literally be looking eye

to eye with Tom. Imagine claiming you were Six Foot Two.

Then you met Tom Cruise, and you were looking eye to eye with him.

Honestly, you should just give up right there and then because not only is your claim debunked

and absolutely blown to smithereens, you are now going to have nightmares about Tom Cruise

Height for eternity. Now two actors in Hollywood who seem to defy

age are Tom Cruise and Johnny Depp. And there we go again...

Depp, who has claimed to be a modest Five Foot Eleven inches tall once met up with Tom

and couldn't even crack a smile for the camera. Tom, however, has no problem. His cheshire-cat

grin could be seen from outer space and demonstrates the kind of confidence he has in his own height.

You know if Depp can claim Five foot Eleven, there's no ifs, buts or maybe's.

A slouching Tom Cruise could easily claim Six Foot.

But just wait there Rob... The height deniers and naysayers will say

that Tom Cruise wears shoe lifts at all times. He even sleeps with lifts in his socks.

You know I read that online, so it must be true.

Right? Well do you believe everything you read on

the Internet and in Newspapers?

I mean look at Tom Here, with Carice Van Houten.

She claimed to be almost Five Foot Six and she's got some pretty big heels on.

But Tom, he's got he most normal looking shoes I've ever seen.

In fact if you looked up standard shoe in the Dictionary, this photo would be right there

There's absolutely zero chance Tom is wearing

lifts in those shoes. Yet look at the evidence. Tom is still taller

than Carice, who has Five Inch heels!

Now if that's not enough to convince you that Tom

isn't as short as you believe, then I don't know what you're expecting.

Oh wait. There's yer Dinner.

Now mugshots don't lie and Cruise, who isn't even standing tall there...I mean just look

at him twisting his spine and neck. I think he's probably wearing socks and maybe

even spreading his legs apart. Yet he still manages to look almost Six Foot.

Your Honour, I rest my case. If you ever meet Tom Cruise, please don't

come crying to me like a baby and having keyboard tantrums on CelebHeights.com

Your crocodile tears and remonstrations about how your Five foot nine inch self had to look

up when talking to Tom will be lost on deaf ears.

Because you're not the first, and certainly not the last to discover the truth about Tom

Cruise Height. But you should be thankful and grateful, because

I've now tempered your expectations. Now you know exactly what to expect when you

meet Tom. But just one thing...

Just pray he's slouching, because if Tom stands tall? All best are off.
