Shh calm down put the string 2013 Ataris 44 i  amazing vote jeremiah and i have been torn between  

a monohull on a catamaran aboard the Antares  44 i she's a beauty so be prepared because i've  

never lived in so much luxury in my entire life  anyway this is the master head i guess you'd say  

beautiful beautiful shower you walk in nice and  spacious it's just like showering at home inside  

this vanity is the larger than any vanity I've  ever seen it's crazy I don't wanna go sniffing  

around or anything over here when you walk out of  the master head it's pretty much your control area  

all it is is really like you push a button and  everything works it's pretty insane storage over  

here lots of storage their master cabin huge huge  lockers lockers over here more lockers tons many  

times this base you say you don't have to space on  a catamaran then it's you're insane over here it's  

a nice little sitting area there's also where the  breakers are another control area and of course a  

nice queen size bed you have all your windows  and everything you could possibly need to live  

comfortably so up here is the navigation station  beautiful you can really sit there and comfortably  

do your work and this would be your salon area  so what I've learned in the other version of the  

Antares is this actually goes down and becomes a  whole bed not in this one which would be really  

nice since this is where you kind of seem to sit  get comfortable and watch your movies but you know  

what the triple still goes out cuz you lots and  lots of room over here it's like a nice little  

countertop area and there's also a washer and  dryer in here there it is I have had my towels  

dried for me after giving out a shower also an  ice maker crazy so what I've learned as well and  

another version of the entire ease for t4i this  they actually made into an ice maker as well as  

when I told you about the sofa area but in this  one you have a sink which is also great coz you  

can come in and wash your hand this is a full  freezer the whole thing bigger than a freezer  

at home for sure I am now on the other side of  the catamaran in there is a little bit smaller  

than the master suite cabin area okay this is the  galley the oven has been a bit difficult for me  

to operate however once I figured it out and the  manual was in Spanish as well so the captain just  

kind of like translated for me but now it's all  good microwave works better than any microwave  

I've ever used in my life extremely powerful  lots of storage full sinks it's great I love  

galley down most people don't I kind of like  to cook alone so for me this is perfection now  

if you go a little bit further you will find  the last cabin but really you could have two  

different I don't know you could have a couple  of a single person in here this is kind of like  

the storage this is how the captain likes it so  as you can see it looks like a mess but really  

gets organized if you're living on the boat you  know where everything is so two heads and there's  

been four of us on this boat and it's worked  amazingly I don't think you beat anything more  

in my opinion but you can still shower in here  lots of storage sink you name it it's in there

this engines of lemon generators a lemon council  lemon and why couldn't we go on without that  

generator the only way this boat stays alive is  there's one tiny alternator on that engine that  

works there's no alternator on this engine  now we have no generator the solar panels  

aren't keeping up so if that alternator takes  we'll be adrift basically the batteries would I  

this charges the batteries you know industry's  incredibly electrical dependent and that's how  

we started the boat the morning right with  the generator yeah okay might be able to  

get this pump at West Marine which is right on  town yeah not been able to in the past special  

order I can I'm trying to think if I can strip  one from somewhere else in the boat there's one  

on the entire conditioner oh really just like  this one the exact same pump I can wire it in  

and put it on looks like mounted to a bracket  so it needs to be like the same poem don't plan  

on breaking down Britney I don't ever plan on  breaking down what are you doing what it's cold

all right so March pump just crapped  itself this is West marine product a  

mile from here we hit the dinghy in try to  get to it they have one in stock pull this  

the right one same model number you said  hope it's configured the same plan but  

won't go out there kind of pick it up bring  it back wired in and long move the only bad  

part about this is I can't start drinking  now I know it sucks for you I'm so sorry

yep not only did the pump fail now the ding  knee hoist was jammed West Marine was about  

two miles away and was closing in 30  minutes we had to get this sorted out  

quickly we couldn't depart without the  genset working because we're headed for  

the Everglades there's no option for  power there beside your own how do we  

bring the beautiful job honey what kind of  knot is that the snubber right lift up yep

it's heightening the hoist twisted which  caused the jam now we needed to get it in the  

water and roll the weather window is opening for  tomorrow so this repair getting done is crucial

successful trick CC we got there just in time  for the close wouldn't let us in we had to find a  

little spot hopped in Medan really nicely her she  had like a trailer in the end of the canal and it  

was all boarded up she said during hurricane Irma  all the boats came flying down the canal smashed  

into her house we all nights they offered John  a ride but his walk the two blocks yeah got the  

pump now we're back this is the part we needed  okay March pump this is mm-hmm hopefully this  

is the rank one the same part number so I'm more  concerned about the fittings than anything else we  

will see beautiful did you have fun no that's just  not fun you're gonna hop right into it huh I'm  

gonna pull the water the old water pump stopped  at all the pieces and do it end easy job yes

okay so what are we doing try not to get less  cute that'd be good yeah don't let that happen  

so you're gonna pull the old one off and put  it on the new one yes did they seal it yeah  

they put sumo boy all right fifty two hundred  there's no way to and do that I don't know why  

they had felt they had to put fifty two hundred  on everything at the factory the fittings for  

the water hoses were permanently sealed on the  old pump trying to remove them would only cause  

them to break so the decision to swap the  part to the new pump was made I just have  

no clue oh is that me too common yeah with  the old water making when we pulled it out  

they'd actually just 52-hundred everything  so you had to cut it out toilet 52-hundred  

someone a malfunctioning options of chisel  and you know what this is more like triage  

doomed is this the first time you've done  maintenance on your boat at anchor there you  

go it gets really hot sometimes oh yeah very  hot okay it feels a lot weaker it's amazing

see it move already yeah

you both are now electrician no we're not what I  call teamwork good job guys what's the next part  

that I mount it yeah moment of truth is it working  yeah it's working actually feel it humming right  

no yeah yeah so with the water pump yeah they're  called a what they call put somewhere there are  

marks pumping there's this is the defective  marks pump right here and they're somewhat  

easy to find they're just super expensive if  you look down here this is the new pump with  

the old housings because they they say our TV  or 8802 where they want to call us we have to  

take off this housing right here on the old one  from the old one and put it on here which is fine  

because it was no leaking anyways nothing to  do with it so that's it make the wires pretty  

it's not given the option it has to be purged  and nothing in the middle says anything about  

how to manually go into a purge cycle and that's  because there's water in the lines err err I mean  

sorry and that happened we changed filters out  they're clogged and you know arrogant lat you  

gotta purge it curtsey around there's just  not letting you open pressure relief valve  

check this out fire so if when you shut it down  right so the day ended up with a working gen set  

a working dinghy hoist but a broken water maker  the automatic function that purges the air out  

after changing the filters wasn't working so  neither was our water maker either way we had  

power and a weather window so tomorrow we depart  there's usually something wrong with your boat  

so the best thing to do is just relax anyway  enjoy every moment and just go with the flow
