I'm Cody Cooper. We're here previewing the 2019 Honda race team.
So for the 2019 season I'll be managing the team and riding in the MX1 class.
The team has Wyatt Chase riding the MX2 class this year.
Moving over from riding to managing the team has been so much easier for me
with all the great sponsors we have.. Our sponsor are people that we want to use so it's easy dealing with them.
Got a lot of old sponsors on board and some new ones.
One of our major sponsors is Motul Oils.. Those guys are fantastic and their product is second to none.
We use their whole range, from engine oils, fork and shock oils,
filter oils, chain lubes, to cleaning products.. Globally, Honda and Motul have a strong relationship
and here in New Zealand we're proud to keep that relationship going.
So we're with Renthal this year.. We've added this sprockets and chains,. already using their bars and grips as it comes on the standard Honda and we love their bar.
We've picked up the chain and sprocket deal because of their quality and durability.
Hinson is another big sponsor with clutch components.
We use their baskets and their clutch springs, because they got a lot more feel
off the starts and a lot more feel around the track.
