4-H has definitely helped me, as far as where I am now.
I know it helped me get into school.. One of the first things they told me when they called for my college
acceptance was that they really liked seeing 4-H on people's records.
It's helped me grow as a person.. Like I said before, it helped me gain my independence.
It's definitely helped me to become a more confident person.
Going through all the activities and teams and programs that
4-H has to offer.. Pretty much now, I have the mentality of "I can do anything."
A professor gives me an assignment and I can have it
done in the next day because I've learned how to organize my time well and how to get
things done.. 4-H has definitely opened doors to lots of opportunities for me, such as the
communications team, the judging team, the Eastern States team are all amazing
opportunities that I've had.. And also, just a ton of educational experiences like going to U
Maine, having tons of educational speakers come in, whether it's chiropractors or vets
or...We had Miss Maine Rodeo come talk to our club this year.
It's been a really, really great educational opportunity for me.
