Hey, how you doing? Justin here. Today I wanna talk a bit more about the 'F' chord
and give you a little exercise that you might like to try; there's a little bit of
me going, "no, don't show them this; it's too much too soon", but I think for some
of you, could be, you know, a really important thing to get. Now, I'm hoping
for most of you the 'F' chord is going okay, and that you can play the
chord and all of the notes are ringing out. I suspect, for many of you, probably still
struggling a little bit with getting the 'B' string ringing out clearly, which is
the most common problem there with the 'F' chord. If you're really struggling with
it at this point to get the note sounding clearly; it could be to do with the
instrument. Because of the way, the guitar is made, you'll find that it is very
difficult to press a string down, right near the note, okay?, especially if you're
like right near it. Around the 1st fret, it's still likely to be quite hard; at least
harder to press down usually than it might be, say, at the 5th fret, even if the
string is actually further away from the fret there. It should be a little easier
to press down; not all the time. On this guitar actually, it's a little easier here
at the 1st fret but I've got a beautiful set-up done on this. Now, if you're
struggling with your 'F' chord here, you're playing that, especially, if you're getting this
kind of sound, and you're struggling to get the barre down and now you're getting this,
rattle-y stuff going on. It probably means that you're struggling to press down the barre hard
enough. Now, could be just the finger strength thing; in which case, you need
