talk about IRS imposter scams on the rise. They are targeting immigrant and
senior citizen communities. let's get started. this morning i received a phone call from an IRS
imposture. let's listen to it. "Out five six seven. thank you. instead of calling them i contacted the HX to see if I was registered with the
national do not call registry the national do not call registry protects
consumers from receiving phone calls from telemarketers first I verified my
registration. I put in my phone number and my email address and they sent me an email back
confirming that i had signed up in 2003 I could submit a complaint here or i
could register our phone number and said i would like to show you how I submitted
a complaint the first place I went to is the federal trade commission or ftc.gov
I wanted to get the very latest information on scam alerts this brought
me to consumer ftc.gov / scam alerts uh I wanted to basically see if there's
anything very recently about IRS and postures yes there was from September
