Hey there. Welcome to the Dime Store Diner.. I'm Victoria Hanson. A broadcasting major here at Western Illinois University
and University Television's intern, here to show you there's more to cooking in college becides ramen noodles.
On today's menu I have some breakfast items you can whip up on a whimp. First, biscuts and gravy an omlet and a sunny side up sandwich
Lets start with the biscuts and gravy. First you'll need two and a half cups of milk, a pound of breakfast sausage, and one forth cup of just white flour.
And now we're just gonna brown the sausage for about five minutes. (sizzling sausage)
After you've browned the meat for about five minutes you're going to add the flour and that's going to take about two. You're just going to sprinkle it over the meat and let it dissolve.
After the flour is dissolved, you're going to add the two and a half cups of milk, slowly, and you'll just kinda stir it around a little bit and wait for it to gradually thicken.
Now that the biscuts are done let's get them out of the oven. The gravy turned out nicely, and now that it's all thickened up let's serve some on a plate.
And now that it's all ready, add a little bit of gravy, or a lot, and season it how you'd like. I just have some salt and pepper, or if you like some spice add tobasco or your favorite hot sauce.
And with just a few simple ingredients you have biscuts and gravy.

You'll need some eggs, some bread to make the toast, of course some jelly, and don't forget you'll want a well greased pan for this item.
Not only will you want a well greased pan, but a tight fitting lid to make sure the eggs are set just right. Let's go crack 'em.
You can use different kinds of fats, if you don't have some cooking spray, you can use butter or oil as well.
Just spray it on the pan, make sure you have your toast in, and one at a time just crack your eggs right in.
Set the lid on and it'll be about two or three minutes.
Alright, our eggs are ready you can tell the whites are just right.
