Buying a gift for anyone can be hard. How much should I spend? Will they like it? Won't they?
And buying a tech gift can be even harder. Especially
if you don't understand half the tech jargon. 4k, 120 hertz, f 1.8, APS-C,
ANC, the list goes on. So, here's my guide to some of the best tech gift ideas you can buy.
So whether you're buying for someone who's into gaming, photography, audio, video, or whatever,
and regardless of your budget, there's going to be something in this list that is guaranteed to
put a smile on their face. And hey, you might even end up buying something for yourself!
Welcome to my Tech Gear…. Let's get into it!. Often at the top of any tech gift list are gaming consoles, and at the top of
the pile sits the PS5 and the XBox Series X, both of them costing $499. Now these are
full fat versions of these consoles. Both of them have the best hardware spec available,
and a physical disk drive. The hard drive spaces are slightly different with the PS5 having a 825
GB hard drive, but only 667 of that is usable due to the operating system. The XBox Series
X on the other hand has a 1TB hard drive, but only 802 GB of that is usable because the rest
is taken up by the operating system. So whichever one you get you're probably going to have to
buy an external hard drive at some point to store those games you're going to download.
Now for a cheaper price we have the XBox Series S at $299, and the PS5 Digital at $399. Both of
these versions don't have a disk drive. However, in an era of game pass subscriptions that might
not be a deal breaker for you. What might be though are the specs of these machines. The PS5
