Hi everyone, this is Klaus.. In my last video, I showed you a US supermarket,. and did a commodity price comparison between China and the US.
Food is more expensive, but milk and meat are much cheaper in the US.
So overall, the prices are very similar.. But Chinese people usually go to the street market,
and buy from street vendors.. If you buy well-packaged food from the supermarket, it will be more expensive.
In fact, the US has similar markets.. They're called Farmers Market, located in relatively remote areas,
and their products are much cheaper.. Besides, I live in California, near Los Angeles.. So in general,. Americans have higher incomes than the Chinese,. but commodity prices here are not higher than those in China.
However, one netizen commented,. "Well, no matter how good America is,. racial discrimination against Asians is still severe there."
Usually, to answer this question,. we need to analyze how much racial discrimination there is in the US.
